Celebrating The Earth Day with early morning beach clean up. It took us only half an hour to collect a lot of garbage. Such morning exercises — good for health and nature.

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated each year on the Vernal Equinox and on April 22, on which days events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970 on both dates. The April 22 date is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. The Vernal Equinox Earth Day, sanctioned by the United Nations and celebrated around the world with the ringing of the Peace Bell at the United Nations Headquarters is now globally coordinated by The Earth Society Foundation and the Earth Flag Foundation.

Congratulations to new PADI dive instructors! Alex, Mary and Roman successfully passed Instructor Exam (IE). In previous two weeks they’ve done a lot of work. Presentations in classroom, learning standards and procedures, special requirements for conducting PADI dive courses and programs. Practical applications in the pool and sessions in open water. Well done guys, good job!!!

Our diving center regularly participates in various environmental programs related to the protection of the ecosystem of the ocean and its inhabitants.
International Cleanup Day is held under the aegis of PADI since 1995 and is part of Project AWARE. 
This year, in order to encourage volunteer divers, our dive centers on Koh Tao and Koh Samui provided free of charge dives for all participants of the Cleanup Day of the removal of marine debris.
