I remember my first day at Scuba Birds. I and my friends decided to do our PADI Open Water Diver course and successfully passed the certification. From that moment the only one my dream was to put on a scuba and go underwater every single day to enjoy the whole new world, full of beauty and new possibilities!
A few months later, I returned to the same dive center in Koh Tao to improve my level to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and the next month I was diving every day! Experienced mentors, seeing my love of scuba diving, recommended to complete my PADI Divemaster training. This course helped me to understand some nuances of diving from the perspective of a dive professional and after working six months as PADI Divemaster, I realized that I want to teach diving, that’s why I completed my PADI Instructor Developing Course and become PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Now I’m living a happy life on the small beautiful island, every day helping others taking their first leap into the water!

Our diving center located on Koh Tao in Mae Haad village on the south of the Mae Haad Bay. The first option what you have is to take a snorkeling on the home reef, where you can see living coral reef and tropical sea fish. If you like your first experience you can continue with introduction scuba dive from the beach or participate in PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme and take your first breath underwater.

There are many nice, beautiful and shallow dive sites around Koh Tao, suitable exactly for beginners. You’ll dive on the best dive spots of Koh Tao like Japanese Garden (near Nang Yuan Island, Mango Bay (north of Koh Tao) or Aow Leuk (south point). After detailed PADI instructor’s briefing you will be confident and comfort underwater. Another reality, beautiful corals reefs, marine animals and zero gravity — that what you’ll see on your first dive!

You can always extend your depth limits in diving by taking PADI Deep Diver specialty course in our dive center Scuba Birds on Koh Tao or Samui. This specialty course allows you to go down up to 40 metes!
